As a Customer Associate, you will represent the Jio brand in the field, playing a vital role in customer acquisition, relationship management, and service support. This freelancer position offers flexibility along with the opportunity to gain experience in the dynamic telecom industry.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Customer Acquisition:
- Conduct door-to-door visits, community outreach, or localized promotions to identify and engage with prospective customers.
- Promote Jio's services and value propositions effectively in the local language and context.
- Convert prospects into new Jio customers by helping them choose suitable prepaid or post-paid plans.
- Make outbound calls to existing Jio users to inform them about current recharge plans, offers, and service benefits.
- Guide customers on how to recharge through physical or digital methods, including UPI apps, Jio platforms, or retail outlets.
- Assist users in completing mobile recharges on their devices or through designated retail points.
- Provide demonstrations of digital recharge methods and encourage digital literacy.
- Facilitate the sale of new Jio SIMs and ensure smooth onboarding by completing required KYC documentation and activation processes.
- Explain plan benefits and set up services for new users if needed.
- Address basic customer queries regarding network, recharge status, plans, or Jio services.
- Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the appropriate internal support teams, ensuring timely resolution.
- Interact with all customers in a courteous, respectful, and helpful manner.
- Use appropriate language and tone tailored to the customer's comfort and understanding level.
- Maintain accurate logs of customer interactions, sales made, recharges assisted, and queries resolved.
- Share daily or weekly performance updates with the local Jio coordinator or team leader.
- Stay informed about the latest Jio plans, products, services and promotions,.
- Continuously improve product knowledge to deliver more value to customers and drive sales or service efficiency.
- Basic reading and writing skills are required.
- Familiarity with smartphone usage and basic troubleshooting.
- Ability to communicate fluently in the local language
