Job Overview:

We are hiring dynamic and enthusiastic individuals for the position of IT Recruiter at FirstMeridian Global Services. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates of professionals with up to 2 years of experience in IT Staffing or technical recruitment to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Key responsibilities:

1. Talent Sourcing

  • Actively source potential candidates through a diverse range of channels, including but not limited to online (e.g Naukri.com, Linkedln), social media platforms, employee referral programs, and industry networking events.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified talent for current and future hiring needs.

2. Resume Screening & Shortlisting

  • Review and evaluate incoming resumes and applications to identity  candidates who meet the technical and functional requirements of the role.
  • Utilized predefined screening criteria to ensure alignment with job descriptions and organizational standards

3. Candidate Assessment & Interviews

  • Conduct preliminary telephonic and virtual interviews to assess candidates professional background, communication skills, technical capabilities, and cultural fit.
  • Document interview findings and provide feedback to internal hiring teams. 

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements, team dynamics, and role expectations.
  • Provide regular updates and consultative support throughout the hiring process, ensuring alignment on candidate profiles and timelines.

5. Applicant Tracking & Database Management

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all candidate interactions, interview outcomes, and hiring decisions within the company 's Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality are upheld in compliance with company policies and data protection regulations.

6. Market Intelligence & Recruitment Strategy

  • Stay informed on the latest recruitment trends, industry developments and talent market dynamics relevant to the IT sector.
  • Analyse sourcing  effectiveness  and recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency and quality of recruitment efforts.
Candidate Requirements:

Experience: Must have 0-2 years in IT Staffing or technical recruitment (freshers are welcome to apply)

Skills:
  1. Strong verbal & written communication skills
  2. Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Naukri.com or similar platforms
  3. Ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers
  4. Strong organizational skills with attentional to detail
  5. self-motivated and capable of working independently or in a remote setup.
