The ICAR-Central Institute for Women in Agriculture (ICAR-CIWA), located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, is the first institute in India dedicated exclusively to gender-focused agricultural research. Established in April 1996 as the National Research Centre for Women in Agriculture (NRCWA), the institute was formed under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi, based on recommendations from the Planning Commission's Working Group on Agricultural Research and Education during the 8th Five Year Plan (1992–97).
ICAR-CIWA conducts research on the roles, participation, and challenges of women in agriculture, exploring opportunities and devising solutions tailored to their needs. Its focus lies in participatory action research across various technology-driven themes to adapt agricultural innovations for women farmers.

- Young Professional-I: Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc)
- Field Assistant: 12th Pass, Diploma, or Graduation
