Position Summary:

We are seeking a  detail-oriented and service-driven Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team at Six senses Fort Barwara. This role is essential in ensuring our guests receive an impeccable room experience that reflects our high service standards and attention to detail.  

Candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, aesthetics, and comfort of guest rooms while delivering warm, personalized service.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Room Attendant at Six senses Fort Barwara, candidate will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience through the high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service. Also will be entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are maintained  impeccable, reflecting the resort's commitment to excellence, comfort and sustainability, your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Room Preparation & Coordination:

Review the daily arrival list and prepare guest rooms accordingly, ensuring that each room is ready in line with check-in times and specific guest preferences. Coordination with the Housekeeping Supervisor is essential for efficient room turnover and special instructions

2. Guest Assistance:

Provide courteous and attentive service to guests with special needs or requests. This includes responding promptly and professionally to in-room service needs, requests for additional items, or any accessibility-related requirements.

3. Trolley Preparations:

Stock your housekeeping trolley with all necessary cleaning tools, guest amenities, linen, and room supplies prior to the start of each shift, ensuring readiness for efficient service delivery throughout the day

4. Room supply Replenishment:

Ensure all in-room items such as stationery, welcome kits, guest brochures, directories, and promotional materials are refreshed and neatly arranged. Attention to detail is key to maintaining the Six Senses brand presentation.

5. Linen And Towels Management:

Change bed linen, pillowcases, and towels as per resort policy, ensuring all fabrics are fresh, clean, and properly placed. Report any issues with laundry or linen quality to the supervisor immediately.

6. Through Room Cleaning:

Perform deep cleaning of guest rooms with meticulous attention to detail-dusting, vacuuming, surface polishing, sanitation of bathrooms, and tidying up of personal areas to exceed cleanliness standards and delight guests.

7. Turn-Down Service & Minibar Maintainace:

Provide evening turn-down service in accordance with resort procedures. This includes dimming lights, arranging the bed, replacing used towels, and restocking the minibar with beverages and snacks.

8. Maintenance Reporting:

Identify and report any damaged furniture, broken fixtures, faulty appliances, or stained fabrics. Ensure that repair requests are promptly communicated to the maintenance or housekeeping team.

9. Equipment Usage & Safety:

Operate housekeeping equipment (vacuums, polishers, steam cleaners) safely and responsibly. Maintain cleaning tools in good working condition and store them properly after use.

10. Cleanliness & Hygiene Standards:

Maintain a consistently high level of cleanliness and hygiene across all assigned rooms and areas, ensuring that guest space is visually appealing, sanitized, and inviting.

11. Adherence to Brand Standards:

Uphold the operational and service standards set forth by six Senses, reflecting the resort's emphasis on sustainability, wellness, and luxury. Contribute to the overall guest experience through consistent attention to aesthetic and functional excellence.

12. Quality Assurance and Feedback Implementation:

Follow the Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards strictly in all housekeeping duties. Actively listen to guest feedback and work collaboratively with your team to implement improvements and resolve concerns promptly.
